Nina Scarcia was born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania and began singing at about the same time she began walking. Nina performed locally as a solo artist as well as with ensemble groups throughout her youth, winning several performance awards from the National Music Society.
She was a member of the esteemed Susquehanna Youth Choral throughout her teens and studied under Pennsylvania's most prestigious vocal coaches including studies at Lebanon Valley College. She continued to study voice and guitar at Mansfield University. Her sultry voice, often compared to Norah Jones and Bonnie Raitt, was heard routinely on Mansfield University radio. Nina is a member of the Acoustic Roadshow, well known in Philadelphia.
